411 is my room number in case you were wondering.
I am not going to blog about my job everyday because that would be, well crazy. BUT since I found out today what kiddos I'll have I am excited to share. I got to go observe and hang out at one of the other elementary schools today (where my future students are). I learned that I am getting 3, two girls and a boy. All three are wheelchair bound, all require feeding tubes, all have diapers, and all are absolutely precious.
I am anxious/excited about starting to work with them next week and am just praying I do some good for them. I still wake up some mornings wondering how the heck I got here. I mean, I know how I got here but looking back it just seems crazy.

First day back
Today was a great day. I am back in the classroom and loving it.
I arrived at 7:30 this morning after a nice 1 hour drive...not terrible. The principal showed me my classroom and when I walked in it was a little overwhelming at how empty and bare it was. I was however excited to find a full-sized fridge and freezer, tons of storage, my own bathroom with a shower, and a separate changing room (which I share with the teacher next to me).
The teacher in the room next to me was so very helpful to me today. She immediately began looking through all of her stuff to help me make my room look more "homey". It was hard to figure out what I needed because as of yet I still don't know what students I will have (though I'm pretty certain I'll have 4). I had to go to two very boring meetings today but I got to meet most of the teachers and they were all very welcoming and nice. Tomorrow I am going to one of the other elementary schools to observe adn ask questions of one of the teachers there that may have some of the kids I'm getting. I'm hoping to get a lot of questions answered. I also will be spending some time doing paper work as well.
All in all I'm very excited about this year and what's to come and SO greatful that God has provided me with another opportunity to do what I love.
